  • New License, but have not lived in OHIO for the last 5 years $77
  • Renewal License $50
  • Renewal License, but have not lived in OHIO for the last 5 years $60
  • These payments must be made by MONEY ORDER ONLY.
  • Please make the money orders payable to Lorain County Sheriff’s Office
  • DD214 with an Honorable Discharge- FREE OF CHARGE
  • Retired Law Enforcement in good standing- FREE OF CHARGE

  • 2×2 Passport like photo. MUST BE IN COLOR
  • If you are a renewal, and your previous license was issued from LORAIN COUNTY, you DO NOT need a photo. If you are renewing in Lorain County for the FIRST TIME, you will need to provide the photo.
  • Training Certificate for NEW LICENSE

These payments must be made by money order or cashiers check only. No cash, personal checks, debit or credit cards accepted.
