Captain Daniel Ashdown
Captain Daniel Ashdown began his career with the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office in 1995. During his time with the office he has worked as an Auxiliary Deputy, Corrections Officer, and since 2000 has been a Deputy Sheriff. As a Deputy Sheriff he specialized in Community Policing, Field Training, Bicycle Patrol. and Accident Reconstruction. In 2017 he graduated the Public Safety Leadership Academy that was provided by the Ohio State University and Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy. Captain Ashdown currently oversees the Law Enforcement Division.
