Honor Guard

The Lorain County Sheriff's Honor Guard Unit consist of a ten member team made up of volunteer officers from the Law Enforcement division of the Sheriff's Department. The unit was founded in 2001 by Sheriff Phil R. Stammitti with the aid of Chief Deputy Mahar and Deputy Randy Koubeck. This unit has performed duties such as posting of the colors at civic events, graduations, building dedications as well as attending parades within the local area. The Honor Guard has received several awards from civic organizations and these dedicated officers represent the pride, respect and "esprit de corps" of the Sheriff's Office.

The current members of the Honor Guard are Sgt. Randal Koubeck, Deputy Robert Perkins, Deputy Anthony Kovacs, Deputy Robert Vansant Jr., Deputy Amanda Barry, Deputy Mark Bungard, Deputy Adam Trifiletti.
